A solid investment in your confidence.

Porcelain veneers are custom-made covers that are bonded to your teeth. They look just like healthy teeth, and can be given a natural white color, or a “Hollywood” white, depending on your preference. They are often a solution to teeth that are stained, decayed, or chipped, and are used to reshape teeth and close gaps.

Veneers are a perfect solution for anyone who wants a 100% customized look of their smile, and for those who never knew they wanted a smile from ear to ear.

Let veneers bring the best out of your smile.

Significant changes to your smile can be achieved through different procedures, however, veneers are the only treatment that allow a full customization of your smile. All in one session.

Here are some reasons people choose veneers:

Total control: Dental veneers can provide a complete solution for a total smile overhaul. They can help you to:

  • Close gaps
  • Correct slight misalignments
  • Even out the teeth’s shape
  • Fix hard to see chips
  • Combat sensitivity
  • Minimize a gummy smile’s appearance
  • Achieve your desired shade of whiteness
  • Eliminate permanent stains from your teeth’s enamel

Whitening that lasts longer: As mentioned above, your veneers’ level of whiteness can be chosen beforehand, whether you want a natural white, or a Hollywood white. Whichever white you choose – it will last longer than any regular tooth whitening.

Minimally invasive: Sometimes for veneers to be placed, some of your natural tooth must be filed. However, with modern veneers – very little material is filed, sometimes none at all. The procedure as a whole preserves more natural tooth, and is also less invasive compared to crowns.

How does the process go?

First, we’ll discuss about your goals and find out what results you want to achieve. Then we’ll analyze your teeth’s condition to make sure veneers are the best option for you. In some cases, we may recommend a different treatment, or a preparatory treatment before getting the veneers. This can be done to increase the success rate of your veneers, and avoid do-overs down the line.

The preparation

If needed, we will remove a thin layer of enamel from your teeth to be able to fit in the veneer. The area will be numbed before we start working. Then, an impression of your prepared tooth, and the ones near-by will be taken to ensure a perfect fit of the veneers.

Placing the veneers

After the impression is taken, we’ll start creating the permanent veneers, and in the meantime, some temporary veneers will be placed. Afterwards we’ll remove the temporary veneers and place the permanent ones. Then we’ll give you a quick polish and some finishing touches, and you’re good to go!

Dental care with veneers

Once the procedure is complete, we’ll give you detailed instructions on how to care for, and increase the lifespan of your veneers. However, the crash course is that veneers look and feel like natural teeth. Caring for veneers is mostly the same as with natural teeth. You’d brush and floss your teeth twice a day, and regularly visit us for routine checkups and cleanings. Assuming proper care, your veneers could last ten years, or even more.

Prices for veneers in Hamilton

Prices vary of course, from case to case. However, you can expect to pay approx. $200-600+ out of pocket with an insurance plan, and about $800-1200+ without insurance.

What will determine the price of your veneers?

  • How many veneers you want to get.
  • The work required to prepare and place the veneers
  • The type of veneers
  • And the results you want to achieve

Keep in mind, accurate quotes can’t be provided over the phone, less so on a website. You should consult with a dentist, and undergo an oral exam. Then you’ll be recommended the best treatment option for you, and you’ll get an accurate quote too. If you have insurance – you can submit our quote to them to find your out-of-pocket costs before making a decision.

Frequently Asked Questions

Often called traditional veneers, porcelain veneers are extremely durable veneers that look and feel like natural teeth. The porcelain also makes them stain-resistant.

With regular brushing, flossing and routine checkups – veneers can last up to 10-15 years.

Ultimately, you’ll be the one deciding how many to get. One option is to get veneers only for the front teeth, which are seen more often than molars.

Brush at least two times a day, and floss at least once. Use an antiseptic mouthwash one or two times a day. Avoid sugar and acidic foods or drinks after brushing, and before going to sleep. Remember to book your routine cleaning and checkup appointments every six months and that should do it!
